Care Assistant (Block Pay / Full Training)

£10.25p/h Weekdays - £12.25p/h Weekends + Mileage + NVQ 3 Health & Social Care

Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset (Commutable from: Bristol, Portishead, Pill, Clevedon, Nailsea, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgewater, Long Ashton, Bath, Yatton, Burnham-on-Sea, Winscombe, Axebridge, Glastonbury)

Are you looking to start a or develop a career as a skilled care worker with a nationwide company that is offering full training, including enrolment on our level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.

Your induction training will also include three days of classroom-style training, setting you up with the core knowledge to provide wholistic and compassionate care. Following this you will receive a minimum of 16 hours shadowing with one of our highly experienced carers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in the care sector, starting with a strong foundation in comprehensive training. This role is a highly varied role, where you will be providing crucial home care to some of the most vulnerable people in the community.

THE ROLE:

* Full Training
* Morning and Evening Shifts available: 7am – 2pm / 4pm -10pm (Block Paid)
* Visiting rounds with be Weston, Yatton, Burnham-on-Sea, Winscombe, Clevedon etc.
* Providing a full range of personal care, medication prompting, support with food and fluid, light domestic duties.

THE PERSON:

* Looking to build a career in care with a foundation in comprehensive training
* Happy to travel on shift to visit service users
* Driving Licence is essential
