You will be responsible for supporting the Manager and Quality Assurance in achieving a high level of service delivery, ensuring the aims and objectives of Care of Excellence are achieved, through effective management strategies and taking specific responsibility for the management of the Domiciliary Care Team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and selection of new staffs wishing to join the agency and will also carry out relevant compliance checks.
Principle Requirements: -
" Experience within the domiciliary sector is ideal but not a must
" Excellent IT skills along with the knowledge of Staff Planning.
" Confident and self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
" Flexible, committed, reliable and have good time management.
" A good communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
" Able to deal with change and emergencies.
" Have the ability to give clear instructions in a manner which is easily understood.
Principle Responsibilities
" Your role will be focused on Interviewing staff, ensuring compliance, and getting staff files signed off by Management.
" Ensuring training needs and updates are met
" Your role will assist with allocating schedules (rota) to the Care Team on a daily/weekly basis; ensuring rotas are in order, completed and sent out in ample time to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
" Ensure sickness and absence is adequately covered and documented.
" Participate in back to work interviews/Recruitment and Business Development
" To maintain accurate records.
" To assist the Registered Manager in holding meetings and taking minutes.
" Assist with staff Supervisions and Appraisals.
" To manage referrals taken from local authorities and the private sector.
" To assist in the planning and implementing of care packages for individual service users.
" To ensure that all the Team Carers who work with new referrals are fully briefed to enable them to carry out their role effectively.
" To take responsibility for confirming time sheets of Team Carers.
" To participate in the out of hours 'On Call Service' as part of the role.
" Quality Management and supervision
" Recruitment Assistant
" NVQ IN Health and Social care is ideal but not a must
" Ensure Staff have appropriate supervision and training
" Ensure Service Users have appropriate care reviews
" To assist with the Quality management systems
" Undertake investigations and service reviews as part of the complaint's procedure.
" Health and safety.
" Required to spend time in the field on client visits with hands-on care to ensure you know service user's needs.
Administrator starting salary £22000 - 24000 per year.
Must be available for an immediate start.
