Network Health and Social Care currently has positions available for relief Passenger Assistants.
This is an exciting and rewarding role for people interested in working with children. You will be required to collect and return special needs and mainstream children from a designated pickup point, to a specific destination on a daily basis. You will be travelling by school bus or taxi. No driving necessary.
Essential requirements - Practical knowledge of passenger safety measures, experience of following oral and written instructions, basic literacy and numeracy, must be contactable throughout the day for notification of routes.
Desirable requirements - Experience of working with or caring for children with special needs, knowledge/experience of Health and Safety procedures.
This is a perfect part time role with ad hoc hours to compliment other jobs. Hours of work vary depending on the transport route but are between 0700 - 1000 and 1430 - 1700.
Full training will be provided which will be two full days in January 2020.
This role is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
