Job Title: Supported Living Team Leader
Rates of pay £12 p/h
Job Type: Shift Work
Location: Reading and surrounding area

The Team Leader is responsible for leading a designated group of support workers to ensure that excellent services are delivered to each person supported by Network Healthcare. This role is a supervisory role and a Team Leader is expected both to formally and informally (through the use of mentorship, role modelling etc) supervise each Support Worker on a regular basis. You are required to be on call for the organization on a rota basis with the other managers involved with the service.

The main Principles for the role:

  • Support and supervision of staff and acting as Shift leader.
  • Support in achieving daily living skills
  • Identifying and meeting the needs of Individuals
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Service Users, staff, and the local community
  • To work additional hours when authorised and as necessitated by the needs of the business and take part in on-call.

You will require:
  • Minimum of 1 years team leader experience in health and social care - preferable
  • Level 3 - preferable
  • Drivers - preferable
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible and adaptable
  • Able to undertake training and to further your opportunities
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Willing to use initiative but able to work as part of a team
