Network Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Work Manager/Team Manager to be based in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team within Children Services, Harrow. This is a full time permanent position and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Wok Manager to put their skills to good use.
Harrow place vulnerable children, young people and families firmly at the heart. Staffed by an expert multi-agency team the single front door receives all contacts and referrals for all early intervention and targeted children's services provided or commissioned by the council. The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub helps ensure all partners share information quickly and act together to keep children safe.

Staff work in multi-disciplinary Teams Around the Family in early help/early intervention services. Families have rapid access to services tailored to their needs with the most vulnerable fast tracked to the help they need. Harrow's Children's Centres continue to deliver parent support and early help and are particularly effective in reaching some of the most vulnerable families.

Based firmly within Children Services, the main purpose of the role is to manage and supervise a team of Qualified Social Workers, Senior Practitioners and other Social Care staff, providing a service to children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, children subject to public care proceedings and, where directed by the court, children subject to private proceedings. In order to be considered for this position candidates must hold a Social Work degree, have a valid HCPC renewal, have at least 5 years PQ experience working in Children Services in a UK Local Authority with some MASH experience, have excellent knowledge and experience of court work, previous management experience, have excellent knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and be committed to working with and safeguarding children.
The role is paying between a fantastic salary of £43,365-£49,608 per annum depending on experience + £1500 market supplement.
